Some places are just more than suited to shoot photos on rainy days, like, for example, the >Tokyo International Forum (東京国際フォーラム), which can be found near Tokyo station. The modern building was designed in 1996 by a foreign architect and, with its airy design, still is impressive today. You can see people, walking through the coldness of the glass and steel construction here and there, who are either visiting an exhibition or a private party, which take place in one of the many smaller room – or who are just weekend shoppers, taking a short break in the wide entrance hall. The many colors of their clothes are not colorful enough to breathe life into the blue-gray steel framework of the Forum, but contribute to the interesting atmosphere there. Just like an ultra-modern looking library it is the perfect place to take a little rest, but soon you will want to head back into the colorful and lively bustle of the shopping streets afterwards. And it is also the perfect place to take pictures! The next time maybe even with a model..? 🙂
Manche Orte sind einfach mehr als geeignet, um an Regentagen ganz entspannt Fotos zu schießen. So zum Beispiel auch das Tokyo International Forum (東京国際フォーラム) in der Nähe des Tokyo Bahnhofs. Die moderne Ausstellungs- und Messe-Halle wurde 1996 von einem ausländischen Architekten entworfen und beeindruckt noch heute mit ihrer luftigen Konstruktion. In die Kälte der Glas- und Stahlkombinationen mischen sich hier und da Menschen, Besucher einer Ausstellung oder einer privaten Feier, die in einem der vielen kleineren Räumlichkeiten stattfinden, – oder einfach Wochenend-Shopper, die sich in der weiten Eingangshalle eine kurze Pause gönnen. Die viele kleinen Farbklekse ihrer Kleidung schaffen es zwar nicht gänzlich, dem blau-grauen Stahlgerüst des Forums Leben einzuhauchen, tragen aber ihren Teil zu der interessanten Atmosphäre dort bei. Genau wie in einer hochmodernen Bibliothek, kann man hier eine kleine Atempause einlegen, möchte sich danach aber doch gerne wieder in den bunten und lebendigen Trubel der Einkaufsstraßen mischen. Wie gesagt, der perfekte Ort, um in Ruhe zu fotografieren! Das nächste Mal auch gerne mal mit Model 🙂
